Brown Wooden Catholic Rosary

Gave to my grandson for his confirmation and he liked them but they didn’t look like the photo I was a little disappointed with the quality but that’s because I didn’t want to pay more than the price.
They would be good for everyday but not as good as a special pair

This is the only rosary I have encountered where there is no medallion joining the circlet to the short strand - instead there is a single bead which serves as counter for the our father for first decade and for hail holy queen after the fifth decade. It works, but I wonder why the maker departed from the normal pattern. I deally there should be extra space for the our father markers between each decade.
